The Finance & Markets Graduate Programme is a unique opportunity to develop a foundation in core areas of investment banking. The technical training element will cover an introduction to Investment Banking, Valuation, Modelling, Financial Math, Corporate Finance, Foreign Exchange and Money Markets, Bonds and Bond Markets, Equities and Equity Markets, Derivatives and Derivative Markets.
Throughout the programme you will have weekly opportunities to meet with a variety of people in the business. There will be regular breakfasts with senior management, and frequent opportunities to get to know your fellow graduates on both programmes. In addition, we will shortly launch the most comprehensive online financial education system in the world for all our staff. This will make it easy for you to maintain, refresh and learn new technical skills at any time.
4-week course: August 2010
1 week - Introduction/Setting the Scene, Accounting
2 week - Corporate Finance, Financial Analysis
3 week - Company Valuations and Financial Modelling
4 week - Equities and Equity Markets, Derivatives, Financial Math/Bond Math, Fundamentals of Bonds and Fixed Income products; Project presentations: Corporate Finance, Equity Product Group, Derivatives, Equity Structured Product Group
What happens afterwards?
On completing the Programme, you will join one of the business areas in Front Office.
