Equity Structured Products Group

The Equity Structured Products Group was created in 2004 in response to a growing demand for highly sophisticated equity and financial products on the Russian and CIS market. Today, it is the leading provider of prime brokerage services to Russian hedge funds (margin trading, stock borrowing and other services). The Group offers a wide range of financing and structured solutions and has introduced a range of structured products, including equity-linked notes, synthetic instruments and derivatives products in the Russian and CIS market.

Prime Brokerage Services

Services include trading, custody, settlement and equity finance products such as margin trading and stock borrowing, primarily offered to hedge funds specialising in Russia and the CIS,

Access Products

Access products include a number of instruments providing access to investment opportunities on the Russian and other CIS markets in the form of exchange-traded funds, stock baskets, certificates, warrants and other instruments. The Group has structured a family of special funds including Rengaz, Renshares Utilities, Pre-IPO fund, MSCI Renaissance ETF, and other products.

Structured Products

Structured products include equity-linked notes offered to international and domestic investors such as capital guaranteed structures, reverse convertibles and other customer-tailored notes minimising the risks of losing capital and optimising the returns.

Derivative Instruments

Renaissance Capital trades single-stock and index options and offers investors a variety of trading strategies based on instruments with embedded options. The Group is an active market maker in over-the-counter options on the Russian market.

Products for Corporate Investors

Services include primary offerings through structured products, such as pre-IPO financing, convertibles, and secondary structured transactions such as monetisation trades. The Group offers tailored solutions aimed at optimising our corporate clients’ financing structures.
