I studied Political Science and Russian at Middlebury College in the US. After a relative told me about Renaissance Capital’s reputation and the exciting things they were doing in Russia and Africa I decided to apply and joined the Academy straight from university.

It has been challenging to catch up with my peers who have financial backgrounds but people are always willing to help and support. I have been building the skills required to be an investment banker – analysing industries and companies and putting together presentations. It’s a dynamic environment in an exciting market, which I believe rivals a career in investment banking anywhere else in the world.
