Our record
An example of the Firm’s range of investment banking offering is the work we performed for TMK, Russia’s leading pipe manufacturer.
Renaissance Capital provided TMK with innovative structured solutions to its financing needs, including M&A, equity and debt capital markets. The Firm arranged several bond placements, including a 3 billion-rouble bond in 2005 and a US$300 million Eurobond in 2006. The same year, we advised TMK on a US$1.3 billion leveraged buyout of the 33 percent minority stake in the company by TMK Steel, and served as the lead manager for the company’s US$1.07 billion London IPO, which was 19 times oversubscribed.
Renaissance Capital was also the joint bookrunner for VTB's US$8 billion IPO – the largest IPO so far this year – and the heavily oversubscribd US$1 million equity palcement of Nigerian bank UBA.
The Firm was rated No.1 in the Russian debt and equity market for the third consecutive year in 2006 by Institutional Investor's Emerging EMEA Research Team survey. In 2004, 2005 and 2006, Renaissance Capital dominated Institutional Investor's All-Russia Research Team survey, being recognized as the top company in nine out of 11 industry categories, including seven equity categories and both fixed income categories.
